India is the fifth-largest soybean producer globally, with Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan as the primary growing states. Maharashtra's Vidharbha and Khandesh regions — where Chopda sits — produce substantial volumes of soybean, making our facility well-positioned for direct procurement.
Indian soybeans are valued for their oil content (17–20%) and high protein levels (38–42%), making them suitable for both solvent extraction and food processing. The primary commercial use globally is for soybean oil extraction and the co-produced soybean meal — a high-protein ingredient used in poultry, aquaculture and swine feed worldwide.
We process soybeans gently — high-speed mechanical handling can crack beans and cause rancidity. Our line uses destoning and aspirating before rotary screen grading and color sorting to remove pod fragments, stones, split beans and discoloured grains, while minimising bean damage.
